These two are a one of a kind couple. Each of them are so incredibly lovely and down to earth, plus they seem to have outrageous amounts of fun in whatever they do.
Read MoreIt really was one of those days where I was definitely at risk of having too much fun with the couple and needed to remember to take some photographs from time to time.
Read MoreBasically, I got to shoot the wedding of two of my friends who, coincidently, I met because they booked me to shoot said wedding.
Read MoreOf course, it is just when you think you have seen it all at weddings that you get to shoot a squad of steam engines rolling about! It wasn’t just the engines though, this day was full of unusual and gorgeous bits and pieces that made it all the more special for this amazing couple.
Read MoreThe day was non stop laughs and the couple went above and beyond for couple shots. They even pioneered the fabled ‘lasso pose’ (see below). Maybe the funnest part of the day for me was seeing Jess cry with joy. Why was this so funny though?
Read MoreIt’s rare that I get to finesse my limbo skills at a wedding but it is even rarer that you find a couple like Matt & Caroline. In addition to being absolutely lovely, genuine people that were super fun to shoot, these two went out of their way all day to try and make sure I was having a good time. However they need not have as I loved the whole thing!
Read MoreIt was almost dangerous getting me and this couple together for portraits! One minute we were sprinting up hills, the next minute we were doing cartwheels. Believe it or not, the couple even mastered the art of flight at one point! You will see what I mean…
Read MoreNow, I have seen some extraordinary sunsets in my four years shooting weddings, but this one was truly unreal. We sure did have to wait for it, but wow did it deliver.
Read MoreFrom the second I met them, Sean and Jean made me feel like one of the family. They are such a kind and considerate couple, always checking I was having a good time which they truly needn’t have! The same goes for all of the friends and family, I was genuinely taken back by the many kind things people said to me during the day.
Read MoreI also gathered from the speeches that the groom’s dancing was something to behold. I wasn’t sure what this meant but I was very impressed when the time came. True it was tough to watch for long, but I stand by it - impressive.
Read MoreIn another turn of events that I don’t usually (never) see - first dance was followed by a mass drinking game. This was hilarious to watch and seriously fuelled people to get on the dance floor immediately afterwards which, although not necessarily the intention, was pure genius.
Read MoreIn addition, they trusted my vision entirely. This is such a blessing when, for instance, you want to whisk a couple away to a spot, where you have to dodge a forest of stingy nettles, on a hunch that the sunset will be worthwhile!
Read MoreIt is rare that you shoot at a school, a field and outside the fruit stand of a shop within the space of 30 minutes…
Read MoreYesterday I quite simply did not stop laughing. Every time I took Cat & Maria off, I must have got about two ‘serious’ photos before they started picking each other up, grabbing each other, climbing up cliffs and running into the sea. I couldn’t have asked them for any better.
Read MoreIn what could be one of my favourite wedding moments ever; I asked Amy & ‘Big Chaz the Money Man’ to come out for one or two final couple shots but a speaker had been cleverly positioned outside and they would not stop dancing.
Read MoreRoisin and Chris planned this day to perfection, what a wedding!
Read MoreIt’s not often that a bride and groom spontaneously announce to me that we are going on a zip wire but I would like it to become a more regular occurrence. This really sums how just how fun these two were, the couple shoot was absolutely hilarious!
Read MoreThe final couple shoot was probably the most I have laughed at any wedding - how often do you see the bride and the groom both stack it multiple times with huge smiles on their faces?
Read MoreWhen the entire bride squad are jamming to the spice girls just before the ceremony, you can assume it’s going to be a fun one.
Read MoreThese two had a killer attitude to their wedding.
