Sneak Peek: Jack and Sharmilla's Festival Wedding at Powderham Castle #LOVESHACKWEDDING
So, this was a pretty ludicrous day in the best possible sense. Jack and Sharmi don’t mess about when it comes to festivals and both have festival businesses. This meant that this was always going to be a pretty wild wedding!
Sharmi’s gold cowgirl boots were certainly a hint of what was to come but otherwise, they had a more traditional, and absolutely gorgeous, ceremony in the music room at Powerham Castle. Tina from Camomile Ceremonies held a really touching, personalised ceremony which was full of laughter and special moments. I cannot recommend a celebrant led ceremony enough!
For the afternoon, everyone headed down to the field where ‘Love Shack Festival’ really began.
This festival had it all:
• Drag queen? Of course.
Festival garms? Aplenty.
• Multiple Bands and DJs? On the MainStage.
I can hardly leave out maybe my favourite part of the day when ‘The Aerobersizer’ led the crowd on an incredible journey of both aerobic and sensual exploration.
There were multiple times where I forgot I was at a wedding and not at an epic day festival, although to tell the truth, it was both! I even made sure to bring an outfit change which you may get to see below…
Sharmi and Jack blew my mind with this one and I feel incredibly lucky to have been able to shoot it! They are also such incredibly wonderful people which I have no doubt all of their 250+ guests would attest to!
