Sneak Peek: Otis and James' Wedding at Harefield Barn

Having known the lovely Otis for more years than I can count, it was so incredibly heartwarming to get to shoot her big day! I only got to know James properly a few months ago when I did a couple shoot with these two (and their six dogs!), but because of his incredibly welcoming, kind nature, I immediately felt like I had also known him for years!

This day had SO much emotion - I have never seen so many tears in a ceremony! There was even more laughter though, and often both together. It was really something special.

Otis and James have such a positive outlook on life and this really showed on their day. Not only are they unbelievably lovely and easygoing, but nothing could have stopped them from having the best day. A good example of this is the rain: these two couldn’t have cared less and even wanted to run about in it! 10/10 incredible attitude.

It is not often that you see a bucking broncho at a wedding, but it does happen (and is amazing). However, it is a first to see TWO bucking bronchos at a wedding (long story). Otis and James were fairly nervous about their first dance and so to break the ice, someone had the genius idea to have a ‘first rodeo’ beforehand. This involved Otis and James, simultaneously riding separate bronchos to the delight of all of their guests.

This was an incredible, truly unique, and hilarious spectacle that I will not forget in a hurry!

Major shout out to the incredible Eve who did so much work in the planning and styling of the day and whose wedding with, the legendary, Spike I had the pleasure of shooting! Big love also to all the Daecehes, Rodds, Osbournes, Mengis, and everyone else, it was SO lovely to get to spend the day with you all! Let’s do it again soon (hint hint).

Otis and James - Thank you SO much for such a truly delightful day. Keep being your gorgeous, wonderful selves!
