Yesterday was a special day for all manner of reasons and everyone felt it. Such a fantastic occasion endured less than fantastic weather but aside from during the umbrellaed church procession, you wouldn’t have known. Because, when you have a gorgeous, fully decked out marquee with its own bar and wooden floor, why leave? That being said, one of the craziest parts of the day was when the seemingly never ending wind rain and fog all parted to reveal blue skies just as the sun went down - such a peaceful, amazing moment.
Florence, Olly and all their friends and family somehow made me feel at home before I even got the wedding. I felt like a guest the whole day and had hilarious chats with so, so many people. One of the funniest chats I had was with a slightly inibriated girl who was becoming genuinely concerned about her hiccups - she then dropped her drink, surprising herself enough to thankfully cure her hiccups and the night was back on track.
Once again, this is far from the sneakiest of sneak peeks but I just couldn’t narrow it down any further. Thank you so much to Florence and Olly for having me, what a crazily fun day it was!
