Couple Shoot Sneak Peek: Will and Marika at Buckland House

When usually talking about a ‘couple shoot’ or an ‘engagement shoot’, the couple have usually been engaged for a while. However, this was not the case for Will and Marika.

This then, was more of a ‘proposal shoot’ - you won’t have to scroll far to see why!

Will told me beforehand that he was fairly confident that Marika would say yes, but I could still tell he was fairly nervous as I took them to the spot we had decided on. As you can probably tell by the fact that this blogpost actually exists, it was an emphatic yes and none of us stopped smiling for that point on!

Saying that, there was actually a number of times these two stopped smiling at my request after they invented an incredible, never seen before, pose known as ‘Axe Face’. When stone cold serial killer vibes come into fashion later in the year, you can thank these two.

In all seriousness, HUGE thank you to the absolutely LOVELY Will and Marika for such a truly incredible, and special, first shoot of the year. Thank you especially for being so up for everything I threw at you; I still can’t believe you got in that boat, I barely even had to say anything!
