This was a day and a half!

One of the things that makes a wedding extra special are personal touches. The day is meant to be a celebration of you both so why not choose to give some elements more meaning?

There were so many of these unique touches here which was amazing to see. A pretty major example of this was that Gabby’s incredible dress was made by her lovely mother! In addition to this, the rings were made by friends, and the cake was made by Gabby herself!

MY GOD, THE CAKE.

I don’t know how I am going to convey my feelings about this cake without getting weird. All I will say is that this was the best wedding cake I have ever tasted. I do not say this lightly. Gabby and one of her bridesmaids, Elise, have a small, Exeter based bakery business together - go and give them a follow on Insta!

Ed and Gabby focused their day on the things that mattered. I am always banging on about knowing when to break from tradition and these two did it perfectly! My best advice to anyone planning a wedding is to just focus on the things that you want for your day and don’t worry about following traditions and trends - just focus on having a blast!
